Faculty Advisor Consent Form

Per the student organization constitution, faculty or staff who agree to serve as a club advisor agree to
the following responsibilities:
1. Assist the club with the execution of its roles and responsibilities.
2. Provide feedback to the organization regarding its operations and funding.
3. Serve as a resource for alternatives with regards to decision making or ideas.
4. Be aware of the organization’s status and all financial transactions.
5. Be aware of any and all procedures and regulations affecting the group and assist the organization in
adhering to them.
6. Provide advice upon request and also share knowledge, expertise and experience with the group.
7. Serve as a non-voting member of the organization’s Executive Committee, but may attend meetings
of the organization.
8. Approve all travel for the student organization.
I agree to become familiar with the Student Life Resource Manual and ensure the Student
Organization will function in accordance with the College’s policies and regulations.
